Uchiha Itachi, love that parka with the hood man!!

Ty,

Its really good quality and thicker than a normal BDU since its mountain weather stuff. Only weird thing is the hip pockets don't have pouches, both sides are just holes  :-k .

Red: No.

Got a bunch of stuff in for BHII:

Propper Tac-U uniform top, and LAPG generic BDU bottom (got their whole backordered BS with the Tac-U bottom, so I just got these):

Dexter Meadows clip-on kneepads, very nice, weird at first, but work great:

TT MAV with X-harness and Bib (rides a little low with both of these one but it works great), 4 G36 mag pouches, 2 small util pouches, 2 large, MOD hydration, 40mm pouch, Condor M14 shingle, Maxpedition Combat Monkey admin pouch, and a VFC gas charger.

Condor Fanny pack for my pseudo first-line.

5.11 Tac-A gloves:

Blackhawk USPc SERPA (not going to use at BH, but SKD was having a sale):

How much did the entire MAV setup cost? I'm going to be running the Eagle Industries CIRAS setup I got, but I'm always looking for something lighter. I also picked up a pair of Alta knee pads in OD and a set of Tru-Spec TRUs in OD for the event.

I picked up a MAV complete deal and was able to convince the good guys at TT to let me swap in G36 pouches at the proper discounted price, so my MAV set was a couple tens more expensive than the "normal" sets.

I got it all directly from TT:

MAV complete: http://www.tacticaltailor.com/mavvestcomplete.aspx

Bib: http://www.tacticaltailor.com/mavbib.aspx

X-harness: http://www.tacticaltailor.com/xharness.aspx

And the other single items I got:
MOD Hydration Carrier: http://www.tacticaltailor.com/modhydrationcarrier.aspx
40mm Pouch: http://www.tacticaltailor.com/40mm4rdm203panel.aspx
and I actually got this off of Arnies, but its a great radio pouch: http://www.tacticaltailor.com/radiopouchsmall.aspx

The G36 open tops are just Condor M14 pouches from ASGI.

Again, the Bib/X-harness combination adds MOLLE real estate, comfort, and Hyrdration carrier options, but it runs it really low, well below the chest.  So if you don't mind that, its a great combination.  The X-Harness is a necessity though, the Bib is, in my opinion, expendable.

This is the "Showing off that sexy gear" thread, not the "give us a list of your gear" thread.

I do have some questions for you, though:

1.) Why TWO IFAK pouches? What do you need 2 first aid kits for? If you are using them for utility, get canteen pouches, those are great utility pouches.
2.) Why a PASGT helmet? Get an ACH replica or something.
3.) Why get tan SAW pouches? All your other gear is in ACU, why are you going to deviate from that?

whiskey, is that an SDS OTV cover?

I've seen some fairly inconsistent coloring on all the OTVs I've seen, some look more of an earth brown and some look like a light khaki. But then again I'm guessing maybe it is the inconsistent lighting and different cameras that produce such a variation on all the OTVs.
