I have a Tau army, and have access to my son's Tyranid army.

If you play 40K, let's hear what you got!

  Witch Hunters/Sisters of Battle.

Approximately 6,000 points worth of army, including a number of VDR vehicles.

Did you recently acquire this army?  Sisters of Battle was my first choice, but nobody carried them around here for the longest time.

I only have @ 1200 points, but I am trying to paint everything before I buy more stuff...and that is not very easy to do.

I have numerous armies, but only 1 that is finished  ;)

My finished army is a 100-marine Dark Angels foot army.  The sergeants have informed me that they are sick and tired of walking everywhere, so I am mechanizing them with 7 razorbacks, 2 predators and a whirlwind

I wanted to get an army of Imperial Guard Cadian troops about four years ago.

I decided against it.

I play Warhammer 40K:  Dawn of War on the computer instead.  You guys should give a shot sometime... great RTS game.

Nope.  I've been slowly building this army over a number of years.  My brother, Pryde, got me into it.  He plays Orcs.  Since I started I've slowly added forces here and there, including a few captured Tau vehicles and a slew of walkers.  My bitches are a sight to behold.  ;)

I play Black Templars, about 1850 pts if I pushed it.  Also Guard, but they're unpainted for now, maybe 1250 pts.  I'm also one of like 6 Outriders for GW in the state, but our metro manager position has been closed so there's nto much in the way of support now.  That, and with GW's ever expanding prices, and I'm starting to lose some love for the hobby.  When I got into the game, a standard box of infantry, like a Tac Squad, cost $23.  Now they're $35.  Still, it is fun to play...

On the topic of wargames, anybody ever heard of Dogs of War?  It's a modern-era skirmish game using minis, usually in fire teams.  There are rules for special forces, airborne, vehicles, insurgents, soviet paratroopers, etc.  Decent rules, need a little bit of ironing out, but a very fun game.  Gives you much more freedom with your troops than does 40k.  Take a look at www.devildogdesign.com.  Problem is, the company is going out of business, but you can get most of the rules for free online and you can buy figures from other companies, like Mongrel.

Thanks How, big Diablo fan (Hell I love all Blizzard games)  As for the possible get-together, just name the time and place.  Heck, now that I have people to play with I am gonna have to look at building a bigger army, once I get a car and all that first.
