Tearing it up in Cali.
« on: April 17, 2006, 08:02:14 PM »
Just an FYI. The guys in Cali read our forum also. The group I've been running with (Roughnecks and Gorilla Pack) are Awesome guys. Gorilla pack will be on B Co. @ LCV. A lot of them remind me of a lot of you guys that I've been playing with for the last year. We did an Easter egg hunt between Green and Tan. Once the right eggs were found they could locate a hidden Easter bunny and bring to an extraction zone. We had a 3rd squad (dressed in ACU named malitia) that would harass both teams. Very similar to scenarios we did. One of the funniest games I've played in a very long time.

Enjoy the pics!!

The Lucha Lebre guys are back!!

I'll be there for the summer for my job. It's a seasonal business so they send me where ever it's busy. Kind of like the military, you never know where you'll end up.

Looks pretty awesome, but... what's with the vacuum cleaner?  Was that an objective or something?

Man. We really need to plan a group trip up there other than LC. I'm really wanting to play with these guys some time.

We've done that before and we'll most likely do it again.

The AO is called Coppermine / Diamondback. It's the ideal terrain to have an airsoft game. Tons of CQB, boulders to hide behind, clearings on hill sides for base camps or regen spots, lots of nooks and craneys to hide in and tons of vegitation in the lower levels. The field is a good 2-3 mile area in diameter. I was trying to think of a way to have the AA guys come out.

This was towards the last hour of the game. Green had found the Easter bunny. Malitia teamed with Tan to stop the extraction of the bunny. Tan held a front while Malitia flanked up a hillside and came down on Green. Totally caught them by surprise. They scattered like roaches with the bunny when we started to pick them off. We caught 2 prisoners tied one up and tried to negotiate. Of course it didn't work. So we shot him. The guy was pretty cool about the whole thing, he just played along.

Nice, the temperatures over there must've been paradise compared to the valley of the sun that we all have to live in.

It's been raining a lot. It rained the day before so the temps were mild. That morning it was very cloudy and dark. Lots of fog in some areas but it cleared up by 11 o'clock. It was kind of humid out but still barable.
