But what if people want to introduce themselves, or have signed up on the forum to ask a question?

I liked seanm028 idea were people have to post in the "introduce yourself" section first.

If this is going to be your first airsoft gun, I would not suggest buying a really expensive gun. There are some pretty cheap snipers and you could try some of those, but you should make sure you really like it before you get an expensive gun. I have a couple of friends that are 13 and they were happy with pretty cheap guns, they might move up later.
You should look at a Tokyo Marui spring pistol to start. They are only $30. (make sure you get a version 2 or 3, they are the ones with hop up.) If you do that for a while with some of your friends with spring guns you should like it a lot. I once read that real airsoft skill comes from years of playing with springers, not buying an AEG for your first gun. But i do not at all disagree with the other guys, TM and CA are great brands, I have a TM. But that probably shouldn't be your first gun.

Yeah... Low quality guns (LPEGs) will only cause frustration. Get a reliable brand that will last a long time and will perform well. TM is great, but they are plastic. And don't get a spring gun. If you want a pistol get a GBB or AEP.

Pilz, loose the orange tip already. But yeah good choice, looks nice. Keep it the way it is, don't add optics to it.

Yeah, at first I saw you hanging out the door, then we started spinning. When it was done, I though, "There is no way he's still hanging on".

Good stuff. It was sweet when we were going up the trench...

I hope I can make it in January. GO soviets!

It was a kick ass game. I saw a photographer there, so there are pics of the game for sure. I just hope they get posted.

The original thread was “were to buy a M82â€￾, not whether to buy one of not. Spend your money on whatever you like, don't let people tell you what to use your money on. I don't think it's a waist to spend money on something you really like and something you will use allot. And if the gun is actually a POS like Vince said, you can always return it, or sell it.
