« on: November 24, 2006, 12:59:20 AM »
What's going on fella's!

Myself along with a few members of Saguaro Team are planning an operation for January 2007.  This will be a 2 day/1 night operation located at AO-NILE (CaveCreek/Northern Operations Area).

We are looking at launching the operation on 13th. January 2007 and it will conclude on or about the afternoon of 14th. January 2007.

There will be night and pre-dawn operations.  Just a little weekend camp out etc...

Everyone is welcome!  If you are interested, have any questions, comments, and or ideas pretaining to this operation...go ahead on sound off!

If a good size number of people are interested I can post up a final update and we can go from there...

General Airsoft Discussion / THIS BADBOY WILL SEND YOU HOME TO MAMA!

We have Ak's...and now we have this!

An RPG-7V!  It does carry a good size price tag, but for all you Russian Milsim boys...this would strike FEAR into your enemy! I think this would make a great addition to a Russian Unit or any Terror Unit in the games.

General Airsoft Discussion / BATTLEGROUND INFORMATION UPDATE! 8-7-06
« on: August 07, 2006, 08:32:59 PM »
Troops!

I took a half day at work so I could make some calls regarding Hewitt Ranch Flood Control Basin, i.e. The Jungle.  I spent over 3 hours on the phone with BLM, US Forest Service, BLR, etc...

The land on which the Hewitt Station Dam sits on was under the control of the US Forest service up to about 3 months ago.  From the information I gained from talking to the Forest Service, lines were re-drawn and now the Bureau of Reclamation owns the dam, spillway, lakebed, etc...  The lake bed has a water table under it about 20 to 30 feet below the ground!  This would explain why the area stays so green most of the year.

Thanks to the Cook Enviromental People......"As of August 1st. 2006, the Hewitt Station Dam and Lakebed are now a WETLAND PRESERVE! The state is going in at the end of this month to zone it, put up gates and fencing, and TONS of no trespassing signs!

So the area was legal up until this month!  Now that has all changed. All because some morron wants to protect a fu*king beetle, tadpole, and every now and then...a cow! Pinal County Sheriff has juristiction in the area and they WILL NAIL us for trespassing....even when there are not signs up yet...

So thats it fella's.

I want to take this time to apologize to everyone that was looking forward to going to the Jungle.  I found out all this information this morning after playing phone-tag with the government.  I'm just as pissed as you are.

HOWEVER!  There is a bit of good news.  We can lock and load anywhere EAST of Hewitt Station.  So I guess we are in not too bad of shape. :)

Again, my apologies to everyone looking forward to pulling an OP in that area....but I don't think any of us feel like going to jail or paying the fines.

I have asked DeathbyDanish to come along on a scouting mission East of Hewitt Station.  If anyone else would like to to tag along...let me know.  We can set up a Sat or Sun morning and go check out the area for a sutible AO :D

Keep it real...

Michael

He is on a buget and he came across this wonderful looking weapon and asked me about it....

(Photo provided by the wonderful people at Depot53)

I don't know jack sh@t about TM!!! :(  At least not enough to give him any real answers....I'm still learning!

I asked him to hold off for a couple of days and let me see what I can dig up for him before he buys any weapons!

Help me out here fella's!

OPEN YOUR MINDS...AND LET THE INFORMATION FLOW!!!!

Thanks!

What's going on everyone! :D

There is a wonderful place East of Queen Valley, AZ that would make a great battleground for future Ops.  The area is called Withlow Ranch Flood Control Basin.  You can go to Google Earth and see a SAT/PIC of the area.  Location: 33 18'00.21 N / 111 16'11.07 W

I was discussing this location on another topic and a few people seem to have heard of it and have been in the area.  Now Withlow Dam itself is OFF LIMITS, but the Res to the East is not!  The Dam is under the control of the Army Corps. of Engineers and Pinal County (a.k.a. Penis County)  I shot paint out there during my paintball days and had a great time.  It's also known as "The Jungle".  Further East there is a dry river bed and there are canyons to the NE, E, SE, S of the area.

It would make a great location for Desert Ops and it close to the valley.  Check it out on Google Earth and let me know what you fella's think.

OK FELLA'S HERE YOU GO!  PICTURE TIME!!!

                              WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE!
This is the East entry point...

There is plenty of "Dead Ground" all over the area!  Plenty of cover and defalade.

More cover....

There are some open areas....if you are caught out here with your pants down....your a deadman!

More cover and some open area to the West...You can see what the Monsoons have been doing to the area...

There is great cover all over the area along with trails, changing elevations, etc...

This is the trail in from the East entry point...as you can see the rain is here.  The water was about 1.5 deep with another 8" of sticky mud!  I did not even take my truck down after seeing this!

This area makes great sniper country as well.  If your going to ghillie up...make sure you lean more towards "woodland" because of the season.  Lots of greens right now. :D

Here is another two shots of some trails in The Jungle!  Hmmm, could there be an ambush waiting for your team???

Good Ambush sight indeed!

Me fine-tunin the 324 after installing modifications.

Posing for the press! :D

My wife Donna tryin here hand at the 324.....

And THIS is what she did to me at 103.26 feet!  Well...according to the range finder....Ouch!  And it still hurts!

So there you go fella's....A taste of what The Jungle has to offer.  I would have pics of the dam and stuff...but the batteries were dyin in the cam.  My bad!

What's goin on guys?

This morning I was browsing the web looking for airsoft gear and such and I came across this website www.usac.com.  Took a look around the site and they "appear" to be a full blown military style Airsoft Team.   :?  Only problem is...there are NO posts, messages, member's logged on, etc...  So who are these people?  According to the site they play all over the nation and have a Regiment here in Arizona.

I have never heard of them, never seen them, or have seen them on any airsoft sponser!  If you ask me.....FUBAR!
Or maybe there a big deal back East or the Midwest....

Has anyone seen them in a official AA game or other event?  Has anyone even heard of this organization for that matter??  There website and forum seems all big and bad and military like....but there's NO PEOPLE in it!

Could some of the troopers here fill me on this?

BRAVO-25 OUT!

What's goin on Fella's

I'm about 98% complete on my gear loadout.  I figured I'd post it up for you guys to check out!

Enjoy! :D

My ACU's are complete!  I went with all-terrain so I would not have 3 different types of uniform.  They are very effective and comfortable. (NOTE: The rank is what I earned from my paintball days)

Here is a shot with gear ready to rock and roll (kinda dark....we tried)

Ah!  My trusty "Kevy"!  On it you will find my M-44 Goggles(in camo wrap) and as always Mr. Joe is there! (NOTE: Under-age smoking is BAD!  Don't do it!)

This is a picture of the rear loadout.  Standard Buttpack for items and two standard canteens on both flanks.  I will be addin a Camelpak setup here soon.  Can never have too much water on Desert Ops.  The pouch under my left arm will be used for carrying batterys, camra, etc...

My trusty K-BAR!  Great for cuttin tape, rope, string, and vegitation for the ghillie suit.  Not to mention we do run ops in the desert where animals are eveywhere.  Nice to have in a sticky sitution if you come across a pissed off animal.  I however would always try backing off slowly or try to scare it away. :(

Standard NATO Gas Bag with mask!  But will be used for carryin NVG's and other articals.  I might have the mask around for games where we have simulated "chemical attacks"

M-5 Medical pouch!  I will be carrying medical gear on ops for all you people that have arguments with cacti, scorpions, snakes, etc... I hope no one ever does....but sh*t does happen.

Backup with holster and extra mag pouch!  Nice to have when you find yourself in a "world of sh*t!

Standard issue flashlight.  Over the lenz is camo netting.  Keeps the sunlight glare from giving away your position.  I like the older model because it is one tough SOB!

Ok fella's!  As said I would add more pics and info on gear as it is completed and/or setup.  I will have a full weapons loadout in about two to three weeks time.

Once again my apologies for posting my gear page on the wrong topic page!  I'm still learning how to use the forums.

After months of construction and testing, over 160 hours of blood, tears, and sweat!  Not to mention hundreds of needle pricks...  A fully functional Military Ghillie Suit!  Enjoy the pics and as always....feel free to comment.

The most effecitve form of camoflauge known to man within the military world! I Designed this one for desert use with full straps and padding.  Out of the 3 styles of ghillie suit, the "Military Crawling Stock" is by far the most effictive, user friendly, and it has no equal when compared to traditional camoflauge and the need to "not be seen!"  This is the most common suit found in all the major armed forces within the  modern world.

As the picture here revieals...with the proper and correct deployment of the suit...you can become the most feared force on the battlefield.  I have also installed over 20 "bush-patches" under the garnish to add natural vegitation to the suit to further enhance the terrain-blending in order to make an already hard to see sniper....more harder to see!  Name of the game troops is not to be detected!

This photo shows the leg padding as well as the "straps" needed to support the trousers.  Trousers weigh in around 5-6lbs. alone!  Also notice by the heels of my boots the "flaps" (bottom of photo) are designed to hide the back side of the boots while in the prone position.  Many people over-look this critical detail and it could mean the difference between life and death for a sniper!

Another critical detail over looked by some but not all is a good "rifle wrap"!  An exsposed weapon can kill you if not camoflauged properly.  Very simple to make....and is worth it!  A trained eye can spot a bare rifle form quite a distance.

My next project which I'm currently working on is a Woodland ghillie for our Northern games.  I'll keep it updated.  If anyone is needing help or advice on a ghillie project, feel free to contact me!  I would be more than happy to help out in making sure you have a suit that will get the job done...and keep you alive. :D

Hello everyone!

My name is Michael Skokauckas, 25yrs. old and I hail from Chandler, AZ.  For the past 7yrs. I have mainly been involved in Mil-Sim paintball...until now.  Paintball and I have come to a fork in the road and I have decided to take my first step into the world of Airsoft.  A long time ago I was honored to be able to tag along with a few AA types out by Florence and I had a great time!  What can I say, the Airsoft God has me under his spell.  I'm looking to apply my experance and combat ruggedness to airsoft and make some new friends along the way! :D

Now I have a great job working for an Aerospace and Defense company in Pheonix,AZ and can now afford both Airsoft and my new baby Girl!!! :D

I hope to see all of you this upcoming winter or perhaps sooner at a AA event where I can introduce myself and share some trigger time with you all.

Until then keep it real!
