If you want to upgrade your next aeg at any point you should stick to tokyo marui but if you are going to leave it stock go classic army. Member you get what you pay for why do you think that you get more gun for 60 buck more w/ classic army. TM are the best aeg's to work with.

I take it you haven't ever upgraded anything but a TM...TM's will eventually break once you upgrade them, the new CA's are "supposed" to be pre reinforced so all you need is a spring..and maybe some gears

My brand new version 3.5 Airsoft Elite/ICS seems pretty awesome - feels better than the TM and it can take any of the TM upgrades. The box is upgraded but its still "stock" at 360 FPS. I used the real thing in the Army and this feels just like it. The TM felt like a toy.....

I hear the G36 is a bit easier on the breakdown than the MP5 series.  So, on that reason alone I'd say go with the G36.

I dont see how....From the looks of it, they pretty much break down the same. I might be wrong, but HK likes to have alot of their stuff work similarly.

  Yes, but HK don't have Hop-ups in thier guns.  

  So far I've taken apart two different MP5's and I'm not thrilled with either of them.

The thing about a weapon choice that I dont see alot of here is what the weapon was designed to do. In the real world that means more than here in airsoft because the ammo is all the same (more or less ) and the shooting does not vary too much from weapon to weapon. In the world, you select your weapon based on its use. MP5 is a Ranger's choice for recon, CQB, and anything where you dont plan on getting into a prolonged firefight. Its quiet, small, and sweet on the trigger! (The real ammo is a factor here too) For prolonged patrols, large scale ops, and heavy fighting, the M4 would be the choice, partly on its better ability to law down supressive fire, and the 5.56 ammo is more of a battlefield ammo, and it works in the saw so the whole team carries the same rounds.

If I was deploying in the world, I would have an MP5, M4 carbine with a 203, Winchester Defender 12g shotgun (fits nicely in the side of your ranger pack), a Glock (.41) and probably a Mk23 with silencer..... that covers almost any battle condition I might expect. Of course someone has to man the SAW and the 60.....   IMHO

I've got a CA MP5A2, crono's at 320FPS out of the box, fires great, good distance no complaints.

well Who all saw my getto CA G36c side battery rig. its not the most fancyist thing out there. but Ive heard that the takedown is simple.



for the deploying part, all the airsoft weapons I currently own, real M60, M733, g36Ke/m203s unknown for a sidearm.

  If I was deploying real world I'd have the following;

- FN FAL or HK G3 (7.62x51mm beats 5.56mm ANY DAY)
- FN P90 (small and easy to conceal, great range and pen power)
- Steyr GB 80 handgun (just because I love mine)
- A Thunder 5 .410 shotgun pistol (firing steel shot)
  And finally, grenades... lots and lots of grenades.

I agree that the 7.62 is a better killer - more range, more punch, etc. I think the 60 is the ONLY real supressive fire weapon out there (the SAW wont fire a full box without a misfire and its worse than a woman when it comes to temper) except maybe a M2, but who runs those any more!

However, I would still take the 5.56 because I can carry MORE rounds which means I can be out longer and run lighter. And I am partial to the M4 because it was part of my load out and I like how it feels....
