What kind of radios will be used for BHII? I'm buying mine from RedDogRadios.com, and i want to know what to look for?

Primary:Custom M4

A \'touchy-feelie\' CNN reporter, while interviewing a Marine sniper,asked,
"What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist."  The Marine shrugged and replied, "Recoil."

Don't mean to sound like a pretentious dick boltaction, but the Combat Challenge will be a lot different than you assume if stepping up from the backyard skirmish games you are used to.  If you are serious and have the desire to do a full out milsim event, then I recommend going to some other larger events first.  Balkan Hammer is not just a skirmish with cool props, its MilSim.

Again, not trying to be a prick or elitist, I am just mentioning that you will be surprised at how intricate the higher echelon of OPs like Balkan Hammer works.  Very strict.  So get some experience and so on.  I am sure some of the other AZ vets here can tell you that.

True, but you must also be 16+

Minors under 16 are not allowed even with the sponsorship

Don't worry, you don't sound like a prick, lol.
I was expecting some extremely strict system, but I didn't know what combat would be like.
And to answer the other guy, I am 17 and will almost be 18 for BHII.

To know dickery one must be a dick himself.  RED 2 4 LIEF!

Ahem, excuse me: Boltaction, thats a good attitude to realise it, but try and get out in games before to get an idea, develop an interest in gear, and match the unit you choose when registration opens up.  Learn basic unit communication, and basically use the Combat Challenge website stuff as a guideline (it helped me).  Play some "smaller" ops, there is plenty of time in the way.  Also, the age thing I am not going to lecture on, but work that out with the organizers and see what can be done (if anything).

Also, learn to run as fast as you can from fast moving, heavily armed vehicles.  And to plan a perfect ambush only to kill your own team's commandeered transport.  Go Red 2!

Didn't mean to do it, but the fog of war was definitely a big factor there. Hopefully with better communications protocols we can avoid such friendly fire incidents.
